As the prostate enlarges, it can press on the urethra and change how urine flows. Men often notice a weaker stream, hesitancy, dribbling, urgency, or waking multiple times at night to urinate.
These symptoms overlap with other conditions, so evaluation matters — especially if there is blood in urine, pain, or infection.
