Blood in urine (hematuria) may appear pink, red, or cola-colored, or only show on lab testing. Causes include urinary infection, stones, prostate enlargement, trauma, and, less commonly, tumors of the urinary tract.
Visible blood in urine should prompt timely urology assessment even if it happens only once.
